Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for writing, editing, and proofing technical and promotional materials for the Product Development team, as well as data entry.
Duties in Detail
- Adds product details to database.
- Composes description and features for each product.
- Builds and maintains a high level of knowledge of best selling product categories including but not limited to car seats and strollers.

This rare opportunity to join one of the region's fastest growing e-tailers, where merchandise planning is at the heart of the business. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will work with the buyer in forecasting trends for infant and juvenile merchandise. You will be involved in reviewing merchandise selections, product profitability and open to buy management. Plans and forecasts for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels. Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments.
Require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

- Developing sales and inventory unit and dollar plans by location and department to maximize sales and turn

Essential Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of distribution and transportation operations in addition to leading and managing shift supervisors and warehouse employees.
Duties in Detail
- Develop policies and procedures for distribution processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Ensure shipping, receiving, storage and distribution are performed in an efficient manner.
- Take precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss and develops protection and access policies and procedures.
- Responsible for recovering maximum value from returned merchandise through the company and other venues.
- Meet warehouse financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

- Ensures most efficient scheduling of warehouse associates to provide adequate coverage especially during peak periods.

- Improve warehouse layout, product flow and product handling systems. Evaluate and recommend new equipment and other overall logistics improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of Operations & Logistics
- Six Sigma experience (G. Belt or B. Belt) required.
